Ark Valley Kitchen of Kindness and City of La Junta Provide Shelter from Cold

Description: Volunteers with Ark valley Kitchen of Kindness served a Chili Supper at the La Junta Armory Thursday evening. The local group of volunteers will provide a warm meal Friday evening at the First Christian Church of La Junta.

Volunteers with Ark valley Kitchen of Kindness served a Chili Supper at the La Junta Armory Thursday evening. They reported that three people utilized the La Junta Armory Building as a shelter from the cold the previous night. 

Anyone needing shelter should use the South entrance facing the cemetery to access the warmth shelter.

Kitchen of Kindness wanted to thank the City of La Junta for opening the building to any community members in need.

Ark Valley Kitchen of Kindness Will be Serving CHILI TO THOSE IN NEED THURSDAY, DECEMBER 22ND AT THE ARMORY IN LA JUNTA located 103 DALTON AVENUE from 5:00 PM TO 7:00 PM and AGAIN TOMORROW, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23RD AT THE 1ST CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN LA JUNTA 109 W. 5TH ST., ENTRANCE ON SANTA FE 12:00 PM TO 2:00 PM.
