Obituary

Richard “Dick” LeRoy Lindt, Sr. of Ordway passed away at home on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the age of 80. Dick was born in Kendrick, CO to August and Esther Lindt. Dick met the love of his life, Linda Lusk, in 1961 and they were married on December 8, 1963 and they spent their eternal life together.
 
Dick worked construction, he owned a tire shop and a trash service,. He was also on the Ordway Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years. Dick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
He was a friend to many people. He was a great storyteller. He enjoyed trains and trucks. Dick was an avid Denver Broncos fan and liked to go fishing.
 
Dick is survived by his wife of 59 years Linda Lindt, 4 children: Katheryn Dianne (David Scott) Taylor of VA, Richard LeRoy Lindt, Jr. of Sugar City, Sheryl Ann (Devin) Tinsley of Ordway, Tammie Jean (Chad) Nichols of Ordway, 9 grandchildren: Michael (Crystal) Lindt, Rusty (Jessica) Lindt, Tammie (Tye) McClain, Trisha (Tim) Wyss, Tanya (Brandon Anderson) Lindt, Christopher Taylor, Joseph Lindt, Jordan (Megan) Lindt, Cheyene (Jeremiah) Nichols, 11 great-grandchildren: Hailey, Layla, Hunter, Raelin, Anthony, Bailey, Bobbi Jo, Dakoda, Lindy, Kylee, Tyler, 7 siblings: Mary Karney, Dorothy (Jim) Wolfe, John Lindt, David Lindt, Teddy Lindt, Linda (Eric) Rader, Molly (Greg) Beach.
 
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bellwood Ustick Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at River of Life Fellowship in Ordway. Online condolences may be sent to: www.bellwoodustick.com.
