Southeast Colorado Closures and Delays Thurs. Feb 16, 2023
La Junta Public Schools will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Thursday, February 16, 2023.
Swink School will be on a 2 hour delay Thursday, February 16th. No breakfast will be served.
Due to the road conditions and the wind chill, Rocky Ford School District will be on a two hour delay tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 16.
Due to weather and road conditions, Crowley County School District will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, February 16, 2023. Buses will run exactly two hours after their normal route times. Classes will begin promptly at 9:55 AM.
As of right now, Las Animas School District will be on regular schedule tomorrow - Thursday, Feb. 16th
Granada School - 2 hour delay, 10 am start time February 16, 2023. Staff Report at 9:45 am.
Due to icy roadways and poor weather conditions the Otero College campus is on a 2 hour delay for Thurs. Feb. 16. All classes starting before 10:00 a.m. are canceled. Staff and faculty will report 2 hours after their scheduled start time.
Due to weather, all Otero College Child Development Services Head Start and Early Head Start Centers and Central Office will be on a two-hour delay on Thursday, February 16. Staff will report at 9:30 a.m.
Lamar Schools will have a 10 am start on Thursday, Feb. 16. Buses will be black top only. No AM preschool. No breakfast. Be safe.
Due to weather and road conditions, Manzanola School District will be on a 2-hour delay, Thursday, February 16, 2023. Classes will begin at 9:50 am. No breakfast will be served.
Due to continuing road and weather conditions, Fowler Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow Thursday, February 16. Stay safe and warm!
La Junta Intermediate School Classes begin at 9:45, students can be dropped off starting at 9:30. Stay warm and safe everyone!
Cheraw Schools will have a late start on Thursday, February 16, at 10:00am.
Santa Fe Trail BOCES and SEAL Academy will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Thursday, February 16.
Due to weather, there will be no school at the Boone Early Head Start Center on Thursday, February 16. Staff should report at 9:30 a.m.
Bent County Courthouse will be on a 2 hr delay tomorrow. Please be safe!
Due to road conditions and predicted temperatures with wind chill, Rocky Ford City Hall will delay opening to 10:00am on Thursday, February 16th. Because of the weather closure on the 15th, utility payments will be due by 5pm on the 16th to avoid a late penalty of $20.
The Bent County Commissioner meeting scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to Friday at 9 am.
The GATS Bus is on a 2 hour delay today, Thursday, February 16th, due to road conditions. The route will start at 10am. Sorry for any inconvenience.
