NWS of Pueblo: 3/22/23 Southeast Colorado Wildfire Statement

Description: The National Weather Service Office of Pueblo has issued the following statement regarding the Wildfire between Lamar and Granada, Colorado.

NWS of Pueblo: 3/22/23 Southeast Colorado Wildfire Statement

Strong winds and dangerous fire weather conditions will continue across the southeast plains this evening.

Areas of blowing dust will reduce visibility down to a mile at times. And areas of dense smoke associated with a wild fire west of Granada will spread across northeast Prowers county.

This wildfire is spreading rapidly based on satellite imagery. Please heed all evacuation notices by local authorities if you are near this fire.
