Woodruff Memorial Library Calendar May 2023
Description: Woodruff Memorial Library May Activities and Calendar Events...
Our September through April WML programming will come to a pause at the end of this month, but we still have many things going on at your library as we prepare for the upcoming Summer Reading Program.
- Teen Volunteer Opportunity: SRP Teen Volunteer Team applications are still available (due May 12)
- This is an opportunity for teens who will be entering 7th – 12th grade (in the fall) to be a part of the Teen Volunteer Team. Teens submit their applications, they are reviewed, interviews are scheduled, and from there the Team is selected. This volunteer time will be very beneficial for school, clubs, work and college. (see Attachment)
- Six Word Story Contest: May 1 – 21 (see attachment)
- WML Community Open House: May 24, 10 am – Noon (see attachment)
- This is a time for our community to come and learn about the services/resources/programs their Library and other City of La Junta Departments provide. We hope to see you there!
