La Junta Chamber of Commerce Mother's Day Poetry Contest Winners Announced!

We would like to congratulate the winners of the La Junta Chamber of Commerce Mother's Day Contest.  Winners were as follows: Isaac Casillas Jr. - Kindergarten; Nyla Rodriguez - 1st Grade; and ZaMiya Gradoz - 2nd Grade. 

A very special thank you to our contest sponsor Auxillium LLC.  Auxillium surprised the winners special mothers with a beautiful flower arrangement, a framed copy of their child's poem, a dinner gift certificate, and a photography session. 

Also a very special thank you to La Junta Primary School for their active participation in the contest. We hope all the wonderful moms in our community enjoyed their day. 

Congratulations to our community kiddos for a job well done - be on the look out for our Father's Day Contest coming soon!
