After 15 Years of Service Janet Retires from La Junta Associated Charities

Janet Clark gave the people of Southeast Colorado a decade and a half of selfless service through La Junta Associated Charities. The local foodbank serves residents of La Junta, Swink and Cheraw with their food pantry. Janet has helped Associated Charities keep food on the shelf over the years, even during her retirement party she reminded us that the shelves always need donations.

She wanted to shine some of her time in the spotlight on her helper, Otem, who according to Janet, began helping at Christmas time when she was only four years old. Janet said Otem's boundless giving spirit helped motivate her even when times were tough at the food bank and it warmed her heart to see a younger generation give so much back to their community.

In her traditional selfless way, Janet spent her interview time sharing accolades with Otem, other volunteers, and the La Junta Community that keeps food on the shelves for those in need at La Junta Associated Charities.

Congratulations to Janet and we would like to thank her for her many years spent making La Junta a better place to live. We encourage the People of Southeast Colorado to join us in wishing her a great retirement.
