Update from CSP on 7/24/23 @ 900pm: "Good news SE Colorado, Hwy 350 between Trinidad and La Junta is back open."

U.S. Highway 350 Closed Due to Storm Damage

The Colorado Department of Transportation and its contracting partner, CapitalTezak JV closed U.S. 350 last night at Mile Point 47, 10 miles northeast of Delhi, due to damage to the structure construction from the storm. The closure has now been extended to through traffic from Beshoar Junction (intersection of U.S. 350 and U.S. 160) to the intersection of U.S. 350 and CO 71.

U.S. 350 from Trinidad to West of La Junta will be closed for at least two days due to the water from the storm flooding the temporary traffic structure. All motorists should detour using CO 10 and I-25 to avoid U.S. 350 and make their travels from Trinidad to La Junta.

Our crews are currently working to fix these issues and will provide updates on the duration of the closure once the damage has been fully assessed. All work is weather dependent and subject to change. This impact will not affect the overall Region 2 Bridge Project completion date.
