Obituary

Jimmy G. Arellano, 45, passed away July 26, 2023 at Skyridge Medical Center in Lonetree, Colorado. Jimmy was born, Wednesday, May 31, 1978 to Jimmy F. Arellano and Barbara Martinez in Colorado Springs, CO.

He married the love of his life Krystal (Paugh) Arellano on March 31, 2007 in Rocky Ford, CO. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to go hunting and fishing. He also loved to root for his nieces at their various sporting events. Jimmy was loved by so many. He was so kind and loving. He would always be the first to help someone out, whether he knew them or not.

Jimmy is survived by is wife Krystal of their home. Mother Barbara of Colorado Springs. Grandmother Vada Martinez of Rocky Ford. Mother-in-Law Carol (Paul) Young of Rocky Ford. Uncle Robert (Hazel) Martinez of Rocky Ford. Siblings: Jesse (April) Arellano of Littleton. Mia Arellano of Colorado Springs. Kim (David) Hoffman of Haswell, CO. Kurt Paugh of La Junta. Nephews and Nieces: Zander and Isabella Arellano, Duncan and Brianna Habinck, and Ryleigh Paugh. He also has other important family members such as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins too many to list. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy F. Arellano. His Father-in-Law Howard Paugh, Grandmother Lillian Wilbur, and sister-in-law Ashley Paugh.

Celebration of life open-house will be held, Monday, August 7, 2023 at McBride Hall, Room 137 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Otero Junior College in La Junta, CO.
