Jennie T. Cordova of Rocky ford passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Colorado Springs at the age of 61. Jennie was born in Rocky Ford to Nick and Josie Cordova. She enjoyed traveling, driving everywhere she went. She loved to be with her family, especially her grandkids. She liked to go to the casinos and play bingo and loteria with her family. Jennie was a very honest person, some people called her feisty because she always told it how it was. She was always the life of the party, she enjoyed listening to music. She and her husband Juan loved being outside, Jennie would sit on her bench in the front yard and wave at people as they went by. She was quite the character and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Jennie is survived by her 2 sons: Adam (Crystal) Cordova of Greeley, Juan Cordova of Rocky Ford, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 8 siblings: Mary (Dennis) Gonzalez, Rosa (Frank) Archuleta both of Rocky Ford, Patsy (Lupe) Rodriguez of Denver, Eddie (Sharon) Cordova of Rocky Ford, Eddierichard Cordova, Wilford Cordova both of Ft. Collins, Betty Cordova of Schuyler, NE, Gloria (Raymond) Quinonez of Ft. Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Precadio Correa, her parents, as well as 2 brothers: Henry Cordova and Freddie Cordova.
 
Services on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 1209 Swink Ave. in Rocky Ford, CO 81067.
 
Bellwood Ford Ustick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
