Crowley Sheriff: BOLO for Stolen Vehicle, Suspects Captured

Update: Both Suspects in Custody

The Crowley County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the community, and the Colorado Bureau of Investigations for their assistance in capturing wanted fugitives; Michael Pinon and Marianne Dunagan who were involved in a carjacking of an elderly female in Olney Springs, Colorado. Escape and Assault on a Peace officer. The car, a black 2005 Toyota Scion Colorado Plate 419 SOV is still missing and believed to be in the Pueblo Area.

Crowley Sheriff: BOLO for Stolen Vehicle, Assault on Peace Officer Suspect

On Sunday 9-10-23 a female assaulted an elderly female in Olney Springs and took her keys and vehicle, a black 2005 Toyota Scion.

The suspects were identified as Marianne Dunagan and her husband Michael Pinon. It was suspected they were going to an address in the 900 block of West 11th Street in Pueblo. Michael Pinon had not assisted in assaulting or carjacking the victim but did flee with Marianne in the stolen vehicle.

Pueblo Police Department and Pueblo County Sheriff's Office were notified of the carjacking and to Be On the Look Out (BOLO) for the suspects and vehicle. Crowley County Deputies responded to Pueblo but could not locate the vehicle or suspects.

Deputy Isaac Johnson of the Crowley County Sheriff's Office obtained an arrest warrant for Marrianne Dunagan on Monday 9-11-23. On 9-12-23 Deputy John Gray and Undersheriff Jim Keen went to Pueblo located and arrested Marianne Dunagan.

During the arrest Michael Pinon assaulted Deputy Gray with bear pepper spray and a Taser was deployed on Michael Pinon twice but he escaped while attempting to aid Marianne in escaping.

Deputy Gray obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Pinon for Aiding Escape and Assault on a Peace officer.

Crowley County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to be on the look out for Michael Pinon and the stolen Toyota Scion Colorado Plate 419 SOV. If either is located, please contact local law enforcement. Both the suspect and the vehicle are believed to be in the Pueblo Area.
