2024 Prowers County Sheriff's Office Youth Academy Registration Opens

Our academy targets individuals aged 16-21, aiming to provide insights
into the diverse realms of law enforcement. Spanning from dispatch
operations to first responders, district attorneys, and the court
system, the 5-day course will offer varied classroom training
sessions. In support of this initiative, Frontier Bank has generously
donated $500 for a scholarship, which will be presented to the
top-performing cadet. Additionally, Lamar Community College has joined
hands with us, offering elective credits to cadets at no charge. The
academy will be held on the college campus.

Our goal is to offer students a comprehensive understanding of our
duties and responsibilities while fostering a stronger connection with
the younger generation to enhance community cohesion. We are seeking
the support of Prowers Journal to help spread the word and provide
this exciting opportunity to our community.

For more details and the application process, please find the attached
flyer and access the link provided.
