Arrest Made, Info Wanted in Christmas Hotel Robbery

Description: The La Junta Police Department Released the Following Incident Report Regarding an Assault and Robbery that Allegedly Occured at the La Junta Travel Inn just after 10 PM on Christmas.

Info Wanted in Christmas Hotel Robbery Incident

Officers from the La Junta Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Travel Inn in La Junta at 10:11 PM on December 25, 2023.

According to the LJPD Public Information Officer, a male victim was physically assaulted and robbed in his room.

Information gathered at the scene identified a vehicle later found in Rocky Ford.

The driver was arrested after being identified by witnesses at the scene as being involved. He was booked on several related charges.

There is an ongoing investigation to identify two additional people suspected of being involved in this crime.
