2024 Arkansas Valley Regional Science Fair Registration Open Through Feb. 2

LA JUNTA — Otero College is pleased to announce that this year's Regional Science Fair will be held on Feb. 9 and Feb.10, 2024 in the Rizzuto Banquet Room located in the Student Center on the Otero College Campus. The fair will showcase the talents and achievements of students in various science disciplines. Students ranging in grades from K-12 can still enter the fair through registration completed by their teachers or parents/guardians.

To participate in the AVRSF fair, two things must be completed by the student:

STEP 1: Register. Online registration began on Oct. 1, 2023. Students are encouraged to register as soon as they decide to compete. Registration and paperwork can be submitted separately and do not need to be submitted at the same time.

STEP 2: Submit signed paperwork. Signed ISEF paperwork must be submitted no later than Feb. 2, 2024.

Participation entry fees per student vary depending on the date of registration. The early bird special fee of $20 will apply until Jan. 25. from Jan. 26 to Feb. 2, the fee will be $25 per student.

Project set-up will be held on Thurs., Feb. 8 between 4 and 7 p.m. and the awards ceremony will take place on Sat., Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. For a complete schedule reference, the AVRSF website is linked below.
