Rocky Ford Police Arrest Denver Fugitives in Traffic Stop

On Thursday, March 7th, 2024, at approximately 4:30 PM, the Rocky Ford Police Department, in collaboration with the Otero County Sheriff's Office, was able to locate and conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle as it was entering Manzanola.

The vehicle was occupied by Felicia Garza and Orlando Alvarez who had active arrest warrants out of the Denver Police Department and Denver Sheriff's Department.   

Felicia was taken into custody on a no-bond misdemeanor warrant for 3rd Degree Assault pertaining to domestic violence. 

Orlando was taken into custody on a no-bond felony warrant for failure to appear in which the original charges were for 2nd Degree Burglary, 3rd Degree Assault, and Child Abuse.  Orlando also had a second no-bond warrant for 3rd Degree Assault pertaining to domestic violence.  

Felicia and Orlando were both booked into the Bent County Jail on the outstanding warrants.  

**All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law**
