Colorado State Patrol Reports on Hwy 101 Rollover Crash

Colorado State Patrol Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash onĀ April 14, 2024 at 645 PM on Hwy 101 in Bent County.

Vehicle 1: 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada

Driver: 27 year-old male of McClave, Colorado, Seriously Injured, No Restraint Used, was Ejected and Transported for Medical Treatment.

Narrative:

Vehicle 1 was travelling northbound on Hwy 101 near milepost 2.5. Vehicle 1 travelled partially off the side of the right side of the road, vehicle then steered to the left causing the vehicle to rotate counter clockwise. Vehicle one went into a broadside skid and travelled off of the left side of the road. Vehicle one collided with a tree, a phone pedestal and a fence. Vehicle 1 then rolled one and three-quarters times coming to rest on it's left side. The Driver was transported for medical treatment.

According to the Colorado State Patrol Public Information Officer at this time alcohol and drugs are not suspected, at this time excessive speed is not suspected.
