Obituary

Phillip Lee Riemenschneider was born November 26th 1938 to Herman and Edna Riemenschneider in Manzanola. He left this world on May 20th, 2024 at his home. Phil married Dollie Moyers in Raton, NM in April 1980. Phil was a devoted farmer and rancher for all his life. He dedicated his time working with his brother Albert and his nephews, David and Dean. He was a shrewd man who invested his time wisely, in his family, the church, and his beloved business. He loved to set water and tend to his cattle. He always had a way to fix anything, whether it was a sick cow, a fence, or pick up, he always found a way. His deep devotion to the God shown through in every aspect of his life and touched those around him. If he was here with us now, he’d be telling us all about how he couldn’t wait to meet his family in heaven and walk side by side with our Lord.

He leaves behind one sister, Phyllis (Chris) Evans of Lexington, Maryland. Sister in Laws: Lorene Riemenschneider of Redmond, Oregon and Berniece Riemenschneider of Ordway. He is also survived by Dollie’s children: Mike, Steve, Dale (Moyers) and their children. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his Wife Dollie, parents, Herman and Edna, brothers, Dewayne, Robert, Albert, Lawerence, Jackie Dean, as well as sisters, Velma, Agnes, Carol, and son Dennis Moyers. Special Aunts Esther Riemenschneider and Elma Strever, Neice Kathy Estes, Sister-In-Law Laura, Brother-In-Law John Estes, Marvin Brommer.
