Obituary

Amari Daniel Galan, 3, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Rusty Gray officiating and Pastor Kurt Gray assisting. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2024 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Amari was born into this world on September 24, 2020, in Plainview to Jairyn Galan and Breanna Macias. Amari had an infectious spirit that charmed all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His radiant smile and loving nature brought joy to those around him. His playful demeanor and affectionate gestures, such as squeezing faces and giving surprised hugs, warmed the hearts of his loved ones.
 
Amari had a zest for life that was evident in his love for the outdoors and water, where he found joy in jumping and playing. His simple pleasures included indulging in his favorite treats like McDonald's chicken nuggets, cokes, candy, chips, and (sopas) soups. He found comfort in the timeless melodies of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," and watching his favorite nursery rhymes of Coco Melon, and the enchanting world of Disney movies.
 
He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Mike Romero, his great grandmother, Pattie Jo Brookins and his aunt, Serena Basaldua.

He is survived by his parents, Jairyn D’Von Galan and Breanna Adriana Macias, his brother, Kendrick James Galan, his grandparents, Armando Romero and wife Lorina, David Aguilar and wife Tasha, Antonio Davis and wife Maricella, Freddie Brookins and wife Terri, his great grandparents, , Linda Faye Releford, Toribio Macias and wife Amelia, Pete Hernandez and wife Esther, Janie Romero, Tino Galan and wife Mary, Fred Brookins, and Ira Smith, his great, great grandparents, Beatrice Cruz, Sele Vasquez and John Brookins and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Kornerstone Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
