Bent County Sheriff Arrests Las Animas Man for Alleged Sexual Exploitation of a Child
On Monday, June 3, 2024, at approximately 1100 hours, the Bent County Sheriff's Office assisted the Colorado Springs office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in executing a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of 2nd Street, City of Las Animas. Following the interviews that were conducted, the decision was made to transfer the case to the Bent County Sheriff's Office.
Clayton Spano was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Bent County Jail on charges of violating statute 18-6-403, Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
