Rocky Ford Police Arrest Report

Surprise, surprise…..we caught up with someone this morning that we were wanting to have a little chat with.

43 year old Hilario Alvarez was arrested by the Rocky Ford Police Department, at about 7:45am, this morning (7th June, 2024) in Crowley, CO.

On the arrival of Rocky Ford police officers, Alvarez slipped out of the residence, in an apparent hurry through a bathroom window, and then hid from investigating officers.

Despite being ‘National Donut Day’ 🍩, Alvarez was swiftly apprehended by Rocky Ford police officers for active warrants, along with his involvement in the hit and run crash in Rocky Ford, yesterday.

As you can see from the attached images, Alvarez would have been quite reasonably aware that he’d exchanged contact and paint with another vehicle, after failing to stop at a stop sign in Rocky Ford.

Alvarez’s active warrants were for domestic violence (menacing with a real, or simulated weapon) and violation of probation. He was charged with multiple violations relating to his involvement in yesterday’s traffic crash, leaving the scene of that crash, failing to stop at several stop signs, and finally, driving while his license was under restraint (revoked).

Alvarez was transported to the Bent County Sheriff’s Office for the above mentioned warrants and issued a summons for the crash related charges.

Thank you to our community for keeping a look out for this vehicle and relaying possible sightings to us. A great community helps us ensure effective public safety and that punishment swiftly follows crime. That team work makes dream work.

We’d like to thank Crowley County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) for supporting us during our time in their jurisdiction.

Now, it’s back to National Donut Day for our team! 🍩
