NOTICE OF 2024 NOVEMBER GENERAL ELECTION

In accordance with the provisions of the Colorado Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that an All-Mail Ballot November General Election will be held in the County of Otero, on Tuesday, the 5th of November 2024 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Mail Ballots: Ballots should reach the US Postal Service around October 11th, 2024. If the voter has not received a ballot within a few days of that date, the voter should contact the County Clerk's Office at the address listed below. The voter can also check their status and access their sample ballot on

GoVoteColorado.gov. Once you receive your ballot, if you plan on returning the voted ballot by mail, you should mail it back within the first week you receive it by placing one stamp on your return envelope and the affirmation on the envelope must be signed by the voter to be counted.

Otero County Clerk's Office, 13 W 3rd St., Room 210, La Junta, CO 81050, Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm; Saturday's Oct. 26th & Nov. 2nd, 2024 - 8 am to 12 pm, Election Day, Nov. 5th, 2024 - 7 am to 7 pm.

Drop-off Locations: Eligible voters may also return their voted mail ballots no later than 7 pm on Election Day by depositing them in a drop-box at the following location(s), and during the following dates and times: Otero County Clerk's Office, 13 W 3rd St., Room 210, La Junta (Please see hours of operation above) Fowler City Clerk, 114 E. Cranston, Fowler: Mon-Thurs (Oct 11 -Nov. 4) 8a-5p; Fridays (Oct. 18, 25 & Nov. 1) 8a-12pm.

Rocky Ford City Clerk, 203 S. Main St., Rocky Ford: Mon-Thurs (Oct. 11-Nov. 4) 7a-5:30p; Fridays closed. VSPC's: Eligible voters may also return their voted mail ballots no later than 7pm on Election Day by depositing them in a drop-box or they can vote in-person at a VSPC (Voter Service Polling Center) at the following location(s), and during the following dates and times:

Otero County Courthouse, Bauserman Rm 107, La Junta: Election Day November 5th, 2024, 7am to 7pm.

Fowler City Clerk, 114 E Cranston, Fowler: Election Day November 5th, 2024, 7am to 7pm.

Rocky Ford City Clerk, 203 S. Main St, Rocky Ford: Election Day, November 5th, 2024, 7am to 7 pm.

24/7 Drive up Drop Box located in the South Parking Lot of the Courthouse from Oct 11th until 7pm Election Day, Nov. 5th, 2024.

New Location:

Inside the North door before the security station there will be a drop box from Oct. 11th until 7pm Election Day, Nov. 5th, 2024.
