Crowley Sheriff’s Office Reports Alleged Football Field Vandals Arrested
On October 22, 2024, the Crowley County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jace Hall and Brander Nichols on felony charges in connection with the damage done to the high School Football field on October 14, 2024.
I would like to praise my staff for hard work putting this case together and thank the public for their assistance in providing crucial information that led to the arrests.

Crowley County School District extends a heartfelt thank you to our local law enforcement for their dedicated work in identifying those responsible for the recent incident on our football field. We deeply appreciate the Sheriff’s Office for keeping us informed throughout the investigation and involving us in the coordinated efforts.
A special thank you to Stan Pickerill and Blaine Arbuthnot for their tireless efforts to restore the field in time for our final home game against the Fowler Grizzlies on November 1, 2024. We’re also grateful to our Jr./Sr. High administration for utilizing our social media platforms to engage the community in the investigation, and to our IT Director for providing video footage from multiple angles to assist the Sheriff’s Office in their review.
Your collective efforts were essential in helping us resolve this issue. We truly cannot express our gratitude enough. This collaboration exemplifies what it means to come together as a united community.
