Rocky Ford Police Release Chestnut Ave House Fire Report
Rocky Ford, CO – On October 30, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM, the Rocky Ford Communications Center began receiving numerous calls for a structure fire in the 900 block of Chestnut Avenue.
The Rocky Ford Police Department responded to assist Rocky Ford Fire and EMS with traffic control in the area.
No injuries to residents or emergency responders were reported. However, it is with sadness that we report a small dog was found deceased inside the residence.
We would like to thank the multiple surrounding agencies that responded to assist. Further information will be provided if and when it becomes available.
