Otero County Authorities Search for White Sedan After Juvenile Struck in Hit-and-Run

Description: A juvenile female was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on County Road FF in Otero County on March 8, 2026. Authorities are searching for an older white sedan missing its right side mirror. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Otero County Sheriff's Office at 719-384-5941.

Public Asked for Tips After Juvenile Seriously Injured in County Road FF Hit-and-Run

March 8, 2026 - At approximately 19:25 this evening, a juvenile female was struck by a vehicle in the 23,000 Block of County Road FF, causing significant injury.  The driver fled the scene. 

The OCSO and Colorado State Patrol are looking for an older style white sedan missing the right side mirror. 

We are asking the public for any information they may have about this incident. Please contact the Otero County Sheriff's Office at 719-384-5941.

Both agencies are still investigating.
