Obituary

A come and go celebration of life for former Lamar, Colorado resident, Ryan Michael Stegman Urtado will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 3:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 10:00AM at the Riverside Cemetery. Following the graveside service, there will be a luncheon held at Las Brisas at 1:00PM. The luncheon will be a pay as you go buffet.

Ryan was born on October 16, 1986 to Theresa Stegman and passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 39.

He is preceded in death by his mother Theresa Stegman, aunts Diana Stegman and Lisa Flores, numerous grandparents, uncles and niece Myona Rich.

Ryan is survived by his sisters, Jeni Urtado, Mandi Urtado Flores, Brandi Urtado-Phillips, adoptive mother/aunt Rosie (Angel) Hernandez-Gamboa, nieces Mya Ann Richard, Zalaya Flores, Jaidyn Rodriguez, nephews Tyler Sater, Austin Phillips and Adrien Rich, uncle Robert Flores, cousins Josh Flores, Shuamae Flores, Mathew Gonzales and Brandon Stegman as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family a host of friends.

Ryan had so many that loved him, walked along side of him and he loved them just as much. The family appreciates all that he encountered in his precious life.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family in Lamar and Tabor Funeral Home in Brighton, CO.
