Annual Ceremony to Honor Colorado's Fallen Law Enforcement Officers

WHAT: Each year, members of Colorado's law enforcement community gather to honor those law enforcement officers who gave their lives at the Colorado Law Enforcement Memorial (CLEM) ceremony.

WHERE: Colorado Law Enforcement Memorial, 15055 S. Golden Road, Golden, CO 80401

WHEN: Friday, May 1, 2026 at 10 a.m.

BACKGROUND: Each year, the names of Colorado law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty in the previous year (2024 – 2025), along with the additional names of any historical Colorado line-of-duty deaths not previously honored, will be formally added to the state's memorial. Presently, 365 officers' names are engraved on the Colorado Law Enforcement Memorial. This year, 24 additional officers from Colorado's history will be added, bringing the total to 389.
