Town of Campo Thanks Volunteers and Fire Crews for Protecting Community During Wildfire

Description: Photo by: Russ Watson, Kiowa County Fire Chief. The Town of Campo expressed gratitude to volunteers, firefighters and community members who helped protect the town during a wildfire, while asking for continued prayers for crews still monitoring the fire and for improved weather conditions.

The Town of Campo would like to extend our greatest gratitude to all of the volunteers from all around and anyone who helped with yesterday's fire to help save our little town. We are so thankful and so appreciative. We also want to continue to pray for and thank those still out there watching the fire and making sure it does not come back. There are no words that can describe how blessed we feel. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts and continued prayers for the weather today and prayers that these fires cease. God bless you all.
