Sharpe Fire Update 5/21/26: Colorado Side Reaches 100% Containment

Size: 16,240 acres burned in Colorado

Containment: 100% (containment reported in this post is only for the fire area within the state of Colorado)

Personnel: 30

Location: South of Springfield, CO

With the Colorado side of the Sharpe fire being 100% contained, many of the crews are demobilizing and returning home.

The community can expect to see a few remaining fire engines and overhead in the area as they continue to patrol the firelines and looking for any additional hot spots in the interior of the fire footprint.
