Quartz Fire Cleared After 7-Hour Response at C&C Disposal on Quartz Road; No Injuries Reported

Description: Firefighters cleared the Quartz Fire at C&C Disposal on Quartz Road early June 18 after battling the blaze for more than seven hours. The fire damaged trash piles, 11 vehicles, and a shed. No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation.

QUARTZ FIRE UPDATE: 6/18/26 8:30 a.m.
Early this morning, firefighters cleared the Quartz Fire at C&C Disposal on Quartz Road.

The fire was reported at about 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
The fire started in a pile of trash and spread to 11 vehicles and a small shed on the property.

No injuries were reported.
At this time, the cause of the fire is undetermined. Multiple fire agencies worked on the fire for more than 7 hours in hot temperatures and with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times.

No wildland or structures were threatened.
