**Update** Crash Investigation on Highway 71

CSP seeking witnesses

(LINCOLN COUNTY, COLO) - This is an update on the crash that occurred on Highway 71 and Lincoln County Road 3N, north of Limon.

Preliminary reports indicate the Ford Pickup was northbound on Highway 71 behind a Mazda CX-5, which was driving slowly due to a semi with an oversized load driving slower than the posted speed limit, which was also northbound on Highway 71. The Ford pickup left its lane, entered the southbound lane, and struck the Mazda CX-5 and the semi-truck tractor combo.

Three people were transported to a local area hospital. The driver of the Ford, a juvenile male, had a report of minor injury. The 61-year-old female driver and the passenger of the Mazda both had reports of minor injury.

The Colorado State Patrol is asking for any witnesses or anyone who may know the whereabouts of the semi traveling with an oversized load.
