Armed and Dangerous Suspect Sought Statewide After Northglenn Homicide

(Northglenn, CO) - The Northglenn Police Department along with agencies statewide are actively searching for Alexei Munive-Rodriguez (DOB: 09/30/1977), who is wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred Friday night in Northglenn. Munive- Rodriguez is believed to be armed and dangerous and remains at large. DO NOT APPROACH Munive-Rodriguez. If you see him, call 911 immediately. Do not attempt to contact, follow or confront him.

At approximately 10:03 p.m. on August 14, officers responded to the 10500 block of Irma Drive on a report of a stabbing. Officers located a victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased.

The investigation quickly identified Munive-Rodriguez as a suspect, and the Northglenn Police Department issued a statewide alert to law enforcement agencies.

As part of the effort to locate Munive-Rodriguez, a Lincoln County Sheriff's Office deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle associated with the Northglenn homicide investigation. A pursuit followed, and the suspect vehicle eventually crashed near Lamar, Colorado. The driver fled from the vehicle on foot and remains at large.

The Northglenn Police Department is working closely with multiple law enforcement agencies to locate and apprehend Munive-Rodriguez. The investigation remains active, and additional information will be released as it becomes available without compromising the investigation.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
