Francisco “Pampo” Humberto Salcido, 26, of Syracuse, Kansas, passed away on August 23, 2026, in Syracuse. He was born on October 21, 1999, in Lakin, Kansas, to Francisco Salcido and Susana Perez.

Pampo grew up in Syracuse, where he attended school. He worked for Scoular Company and later worked as a utility contractor specializing in fusing water lines.  Pampo took great pride in providing for his family.

Pampo enjoyed watching football (Go Cowboys!), fishing, riding four-wheelers, and spending time with his family. Above all, he cherished his children and adored every moment he shared with them. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the special place they held in his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Blanca (Talamantes) Salcido; children, Israel, Xiomara, and Jasiel; parents, Francisco Salcido and Susana Perez; siblings, Jasmin Salcido (Micheal Worsley), Luis Salcido (Martin Carrera), and Miguel Salcido (Brissa Villegas); and his grandmothers, Rosa Bustillos and LaLa Cortez.

Pampo was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2026, at Syracuse Wesleyan Church in Syracuse, Kansas.  Interment will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral & Cremation in Holly, Colorado.
