Structure Fire Reported on East 10th Street After Heavy Fire Found at Rear of Home

Last night (9/14/26) at approx 1108 pm, we responded to 113 E 10 st for a reported structure fire. First unit on scene reported heavy fire on the back side of the house and heavy smoke showing. A working structure fire was called. Crews secured a hydrant and established a water supply.

Attack crews did a transitional attack from the outside to interior. Two 1 3/4 attack lines deployed. Heavy smoke and heat was encountered inside the empty structure. Utilities were secured. The ladder truck was used to help with ventilation holes on the roof. Extensive salvage and overhaul was conducted and all crews returned to service.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.
