Pueblo Police Arrest Suspect in Drive-By Shooting on East Abriendo Avenue

Description: Pueblo Police arrested 20-year-old Xavian Marshall after a drive-by shooting investigation on East Abriendo Avenue led detectives to recover several firearms.

Arrest Made in Drive-by Shooting

On September 22, 2026, at approximately 6:10 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of E. Abriendo Avenue on report of a drive-by shooting. The house was occupied by several people when it was struck numerous times.

Through the investigation, Detectives were able to identify a suspect and issued a search warrant for a residence in the 2900 block of Knoll Court in Colorado City, Colorado.  With the assistance of the Pueblo County Sherriff’s Office SWAT Team, the search warrant was executed. 

During the search warrant detectives located several firearms to include an AR-15 style rifle that is believed to be used on the night of the drive-by shooting. The suspect, 20-year-old Xavian Marshall, reached out to Pueblo Police Department Detectives and was later contacted and interviewed. During the interview, he admitted to the drive-by shooting. 

Marshall was booked into the Pueblo County Jail on six counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Weapons Violation.

All parties considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
