La Junta Fire Department Remembers Everett Babb After More Than 50 Years of Service

It’s with a with a heavy heart and profound sadness we let everyone know of the passing of our Chairman and long time retired Volunteer Asst Chief Everett Babb. Everett passed away on Monday.

Everett was a volunteer on the La Junta Fire Department for over 50 years and serving many years on the Board of Directors for the La Junta Rural Fire Protection District and recently as the Chairperson.

Everett was a loving husband, father and grandfather and business owner who helped and touched so many lives in the entire Arkansas Valley.
