Otero DHS Extends Leap Application Deadline To June 1st

Otero County Director of Human Services Donna Rhode met with The Otero County Commissioners during their regular public hearing May 10, 2021.

The minutes from the previous meeting on April 26th were approved.

Payrolls were approved. 

Rhode said that it was important to get the word out that the LEAP Application Deadline has been extended. She said that applicants can submit through the end of May, and technically since the last day is a holiday they will accept applications post marked June 1st or earlier.

The Commissioners also approved two contracts with CBR Youth Connect one for intervention services and another for specialized mentoring. 

The Otero County Department of Human Services regularly reports to the Otero County Commissioners twice monthly during their scheduled public meetings.
