Jon B Coffield Memorial Scholarship Jacelyn Olivieri, daughter of Aaron and Maureen Olivieri, was presented the Jon B. Coffield Memorial Scholarship on 6-2-21.

Jacelyn graduated from Colorado Connections Academy on 6-3-21. Jacelyn intends to major in Psychology. She plans to attend Otero College for 2 years, then transfer to CSU-Pueblo to finish her Bachelor's degree and then transfer to UNC for her Master's.

The scholarship was started by Christine Coffield and family, after Jon’s death in May of 2000.  Jon had always been active with the Swink School District, as well as the community. Education was very important to him, so it was only fitting that his family set up a scholarship in his name.

The Jon B. Coffield Memorial Scholarship was presented to Jacelyn by her grandmother, Christine Coffield. “Words can’t describe what an honor it is to present this scholarship to Jon and mine’s granddaughter. It’s what he would want no doubt,” said Christine.
