Kenneth (Kenny) Bernal, Jr., 59, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, June 21st, at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo.

Kenneth was born in Barstow, CA on June 30, 1961, a son of Margaret Garcia and Kenneth Bernal, Sr.

He was the husband of Marla Duana (Miller) Bernal, they were married on August 19, 2016 in Denver, CO.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Kenny was a third-generation Green Beret who proudly served his country, loved God, and would help anyone, anytime, anywhere. He had many great friends, including several he had known since he was in grade school. He was always quick with a joke, and loved his family, his friends, his dogs, the Broncos, riding his motorcycle, singing karaoke, fishing, and good chile. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Wife Marla of the home;
Son Troy Bernal, of Denver, CO;
Son Alex, husband of Nicole Bernal, of Thornton, CO;
Daughter Lauren Bernal of Denver, CO;
Step-Son Daniel Kelley of Northglen, CO;
Brother Kelly Bernal, of Denver, CO;
Brother Jack Bernal, of Denver, CO;
Sister Debra Bernal, of Denver, CO;
Sister Sherry, wife of Jeff Router, of Westminster, CO;

He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Phillip Bernal

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Westside Church Internacional; 3440 W. Louisiana Ave.; Denver, CO 80219 with Pastor David Warrent officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
