Hazy Conditions Across Colorado Due To Forest Fires

Hazy days are expected to continue in Southeast Colorado as several wildfires continue burning.

Wildfires in the Glenwood Springs and Steamboat Springs areas have cast a smokey shadow over Southeastern Colorado.

These sunset photos were taken earlier this week in Otero County. For the last several days the haze has been so thick that the sun sinks below the horizon unseen as it is hidden in dense smoke.

Over 10,000 acres have burned this week, and the wildfires are only partially contained. Hazy conditions are forecast to continue in Southeast Colorado.
