(DENVER) - Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is pleased to announce that Gov. Jared Polis has appointed Steven Cordova, Kerri Hunter, Jennifer Kermode, Nathan Peterson, and Sylvia Wirba to its board of directors. In addition, Gov. Polis reappointed CHFA’s current board chair, Amber Hills. CHFA’s 11-member board serves as the governing body of the organization and establishes policies to further its mission of affordable housing and community development.
Steven Cordova, Total Concept
Steven Cordova serves as executive director of Total Concept, a nonprofit organization providing housing and community development for 20 Colorado counties, primarily in southeastern Colorado. Under Cordova's leadership since 2010, Total Concept has significantly grown its housing services, apartment units, geographical service area, and staff. He is dedicated to community engagement by serving on several boards for local, state, and national organizations, and as an appointed member of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs' Division of Housing Strategic Housing Working Group, and the Affordable Housing Transformational Task Force Subpanel. Cordova holds degrees from Regis University and University of Northern Colorado.
