September Meeting Minutes

The September 7th meeting was opened by President Alvin Grim. Rethabel Huff gave the open prayer. The meeting of the Southeast Antique Vehicle Club was held at First Christian Church in La Junta. There was fifteen members and guest in attendance. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Reports

Leonard Walgren moved to approve the minutes of the August 3, 2021, meeting as published. The motion was second by James Huff. Moving passed.

Treasurer Carol Allen was not in attendance, and the report was given by Rethabel Huff. James Huff moved to accept this report. The motion was seconded by Leonard Walgren. The motion passed. Larry Miller and Jimmy Martinez gave report on the 4th of July parade and car show in Kim.

Membership

The Club would like to recognize a new member, Gary Caldwell.

Old Business

There was a report on the Arkansas Valley Parade and Car Show which sponsor by GearHead Motors of La Junta. September 18th is the Southeastern Colorado Antique Vehicle Club Car Show– Leonard Walgren reserved all 3 gazebos in the LJ City Park. The members stuffed gift bags and door prize bag for our car show after the meeting. Ricken’s are providing the PA system for the show.

Chuck Donkle volunteered to be the care taker of all car club car show materials, such as flags, gift bag supplies, and etc.

The Club wants to thank Karen Menges and Fannie Thomas for their efforts in obtains items for the gift bags, and door prizes. The club will thank all business for their contributions.

New Business

With no further business the meeting was adjourned by the President Alvin Grim
