“Cruisin’ Into Fall” Festival & “Keep Kids Safe” Fair Winners and Results

News Release

Tri-County Family Care Center (TCFCC) held their “Cruisin’ Into Fall” Harvest Festival & “Keep Kids Safe” Fair, on Saturday, September 25, 2021. An estimated 250 people attended. Trent Ryan emceed the event and provided entertainment throughout the day.

Harvest Gold sponsors were: Rusler Implement company, Otero County Health Department, The First National Bank, Total Concept, Dianne Willhoite and The State Bank. “Got Wheels” Car Show sponsors: Rocky Ford Discount Tire; H & R Tire Auto Repair, Arkansas Valley Coop, Absolute Automotive, Ruby’s Auto Body, Perkins Chevrolet, Lobo’s Curve Liquor, Valley Auto Sales, J & M Liquor and Rocky Farms. Van Dyk Insurance provided liability insurance.

Kids Games had the following winners for Jump Rope Contest: 5-8 yrs were 1st Place- Aria Ham: 2nd Place- Haylie Lopez; 3rd - Uriah Tafoya; 9-12 yrs; 1st Place- Annesyiah Camacho, 2nd Place-Xadria Apodaca 3rd Place: Jacob Salguero; 4th Place – Joseline Velasquez; 13-17 yrs: 1st Place- Xavier Preciado, 2nd Place-Natalie Salguera; 3rd Place- Adelina Velasquez; 4th Alyssa Hollis.

Tri-County Family Care Center Bingo Winner“Keep Kids Safe” Fair Bingo winner was: 1st Roman Ornelas; 2nd Abel Segura. Hula Hoop Contest: 5-8 yrs were 1st Place- Hailey Lopez, 2nd Place- Aria Ham & 3rd Place- Daylene Gurate, 4th – Demi Gurate, 5th Abigail Lester; 9-12 yrs: 1st Place- Torin Dargy, 2nd Place- Xadrian Apodaca, 3rd Place- Zeke Nichols, 4th Place – Xandria Myles; 13-17 yrs: No Contestants. Limbo: Age 5-8; 1st Teresa Wingard; 2nd Aria Ham; 3rd Carlos Abetya; Age 9-12; No contestants; Age 13-17; First Set - 1st Trinity Chavez; 2nd Xavier Preciado; 3rd Joseline Velasquez. Second Set – 1st Salvador Cadenas; 2nd Luis Cadenas; 3rd Bailey Wingard.

Prizes awarded to Kids Games winners and Keep Kids Safe Fair Bingo winners were sponsored by Rocky Ford Food Market, Tank N Tummy, Pepsi, Arnold’s Barber Shop, Rocky Ford Sonic, Pizza Hut, The Spot, China Kitchen and Pueblo Ice Arena.

Winners of contest were the following: 5-8 yrs, 1st Place Carlos Baron; 2nd Luke Fraser; 3rd Livie Harmon; 9- 12 yrs, 1st Abel Segura; 2nd Nicholos Martinez II; 3rd Alexander Ruiz; 13-17 yrs, 1st Ricardo Olguin; 2nd Aliynah Montano and 3rd Adelina Velasquez; Adult winner – Cuco Ruiz.

TCFCC Tri-County Family Care Center Got Wheels Car Show Cruisin Into FallThere was a “Got Wheels?” car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the following winners: Larry Miller – Original; Alvin Grim – Unusual; Tom Rider – Customized; Beto & Jennifer Morales – Muscle & 4- Wheeler; Troy Lujan – Lowrider Pedal Bike; Richard Nolan – Motorcycle; John Miller – Classic; Leonard Walgren – Antique; Dave Schulz – Hot Rod; People’s Choice- Troy Lujan. Sponsors for the car show were Absolute Automotive, H & R Tire, Rocky Ford Discount Tire, Valley Auto Sales, J & M Liquor, Lobo’s Curve Liquor, Ruby’s Auto Body, Perkins Chevrolet and Rocky Farms. People’s Choice Award sponsored by Tri-County Family Care Center.
