Obituary

Kenneth James Ybarra, 60, of Ordway, CO, passed away Thursday, November 25th, at his residence.

Kenny was born in Rocky Ford, CO on June 9, 1961, a son of the late Connie (Perez) and James Ybarra.

He was the husband of Sarah Jean (Sanders) Jacobs, they were married on February 11, 2012.

Kenny was a long - time resident of Crowley County. He played football for Crowley County High School and graduated in 1980. He loved to go to flea markets and was an avid collector of 1976 Ford trucks, John Deer memorabilia, and Pittsburg Steelers memorabilia. He was also a man of many trades and enjoyed building and customizing everything from toys to yard décor and trailers. At his core, Kenny was a family man. Family was very important to him and he found great joy in spoiling his grandkids. He often built custom wagons and toy boxes for them, and then proudly filled them with toys and trinkets he picked up along the way. Kenny made his living pouring concrete throughout the lower Arkansas Valley for over 30 years. He will be remembered for his spontaneous nature, his humor, his kindness, and his love of family. He will be sorely missed by many.

Daughter Stacy, wife of Jason Martel, of Colorado City, CO;
Daughter Tracy, wife of Joseph Jones, of Chocowinity, NC;
Daughter Ashlli, wife of James Walker, of Devine, TX; Daughter Alacia Jacobs, of Pueblo, CO; Son Zack Ace, of Ordway, CO; Daughter Felisha Marlow, of Pueblo, CO; Daughter Angelic Ybarra, of Ordway, CO; Sister Lenore, wife of Jesus of Ordway, CO; Sister Vici, wife of Truett of Ordway, CO; Sister Anita Martinez of Ordway, CO; Sister Lisa Ybarra of Ordway, CO; Sister Ginger Thomas of Ordway, CO; Brother Tommy Ybarra of Ordway, CO; 1/2 Brother Joe Mendoza of Florida; 1/2 Brother Erick Mendoza

He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; niece's, nephews, cousins and great - nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; a niece: Loni; 2 cousins: Leroy and Kirby.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 12th at The home of Kenneth and Sarah; 501 Lincoln, Ordway, CO. Inurnment will be private at a later time.
