Obituary

Paul E Gallegos, of Rocky Ford entered into rest Wednesday December 8th, 2021 at the Arkansas valley regional medical center, in La Junta, Colorado.

He was born September 7, 1939 To Paul Gallegos Sr. and Rebecca Segura Gallegos in Cherryville New Mexico. He was 82 years of age. In July of 1962 he married Alice Griego Gallegos.

He enjoyed being outdoors, and loved going to the mountains New Mexico to camp. He was a mechanic for most of his life and loved working on projects with medal and wood.

He is survived by wife of family home, daughter Paula(Gavino Alvardo) Lopez of cactus, tx son Stevie Gallegos of Rocky Ford daughter Laura (Miguel Urquidi) Gallegos of Garden City Kansas, son Joe Gallegos of Rocky Ford, Colorado, daughter Anna (Anthony) Martinez of Rocky Ford grandson Eddie(tana) Gallegos.

He had 9 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is survived By his sister Mary Gallegos of Rocky Ford, Colorado, brothers Julian (Marie) Gallegos of Greeley Colorado, Leroy Gallegos of Wichita Kansas, sister-in-law Rose Gallegos of La Junta, Colorado.

He also had several nieces and nephews. Paul was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Tony Gallegos, Willie Gallegos sisters Gloria Batres, Marcella Maestas, Millie Gallegos nieces Stacy Hernandez, Lillian Fuentes, Pamela Gallegos and nephew Donald Gallegos.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 14th at 10:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. First Christian Church of Rocky Ford.
