LJFD VS Fatal Christmas House Fire

At approx 0905 this morning we responded to the 600 blk of Elm for a reported structure fire.

Upon arrival smoke seen coming from all the doors and eves of the house.

A quick offensive attack made, finding moderate fire in the interior of the house.

A search was performed and found a deceased male and dog in the house. Fire was extinguished and turned the scene over to OCSO.

Cause of fire is under investigation.

On scene was 31, Eng 1, Trk 1, Res 1, Ten 1, Brush 3 and Cheraw Eng 1.
