Obituary

William N. Likes, 49, passed away on December 25, 2021, at his La Junta home. He was born on November 5, 1972, to William Russell, Jr. & Linda Marie (Tyler) Likes. Billy was a gentle, kind and warm man to anyone around him. Billy served in the United States Navy for 6.5 years from 1990-1997. He then worked on the BNSF Railroad as an Engineer for over 20 years.

In his younger days Billy enjoyed horseback riding, hunting and swimming. He would often build model airplanes in his spare time. He was a very big Denver Bronco fan and would watch every game. He was a huge Donald Trump supporter and could talk politics for hours with anyone. He also was a supporter of his niece and nephew and went to all of their sporting events.

He is survived by his parents, William (Linda) Likes of La Junta; son, Brady Steven Likes; niece, Taryn Likes of La Junta; nephew, Brian Likes, Jr. of Canon City; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Likes; sister, Maresha Likes; his four dogs who he loved very much.

As per Billy’s request cremation has taken and there will be no services.
