LJFD VS Railyard Flowerpot Fire
The La Junta Fire Department responded to a flower pot set ablaze in the outside smoking area at the Railyard Bar and Restaurant in La Junta on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
The Railyard is just a few blocks from the La Junta Firehouse on Colorado Avenue.
The fire was extinguished before catching the exterior stairs on fire and spreading any further. Personnel on scene said the incident is considered closed and isn't under further investigation.
