Obituary
Florence Elizabeth Price, 71 passed away peacefully at her Ft. Lupton home on January 4, 2022. She was born in La Junta, Colorado on March 2, 1950, to Glen and Lois Barber and graduated from La Junta High School in 1969. She married the love of her life and soul mate Harold D. Price on April 22, 1972. She enjoyed playing cards, going for walks, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Price; daughters, Sheryl (Daniel) Ferrell, Kathy (Hugo) Martinez, Karey Price, and Sherry (Kimani) Derbigny; nine grandchildren, Chad, Bo, Tori, Jordan, Aryal, Missouri (Kevin), Kaylee, Kayden and Carmen; three great-grandchildren, Kikiyo, Emory, and Luke; numerous nieces and nephews, four sisters and two brothers, Jacquline Sanchez of Colorado Springs; Oliver Barber of Norfolk, NE; Gail Kostelny of Canon City; Julia Stecklein of Canon City; Shirley DeVoogd of Alliance, NE and Thomas Barber of Florence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Lois Barber; sister, Josie Barber, brother, Roy Barber and nephew, Jesse Martinez.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Peacock Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
