Arkansas Valley Student Athletes Compete in Pueblo Soccer League

Description: Adam Ouattara, Juaquin Torrez, Taos Crespin, Sessar Lucero, Ari Davis. Emilia Smith Pumalpa, Zooey Crespin, Gabriella Torrez, Liana Nunley, Alaina Adame. Coach Christian Smith Pumalpa, Coach Patrick Smith, Coach Thomas Smith Pumalpa.

It was the first time a group of kids from the Valley formed a team to play in Pueblo.

We were afraid we would get wiped out, but actually, we did quite well, outscoring the opponents 33-4 on the way to a 5-1 record! It was a great season full of fun, improvement, good sportsmanship, hard work & dedication.

Many thanks to the Pueblo Rangers Soccer Club for letting a bunch of Otero County kids join their organization & kick the ball!
