COVID-19 Information:  Rate Status; Community Testing Site Changes

The situations, numbers, website links, data, and etc. described below were current as of Wednesday 4/20/2022 at 9:10 a.m.

Internet links:  Before I send out these emails, I check the links to make sure they are active.  However, links do change from time to time, so the link(s) I sent out now may not be the same later.

1.       COVID-19 Information

a.       Status:  As of the time of this writing, both Crowley and Otero Counties are in Green Level for the one week cumulative incidence rate  (COVID-19 dial dashboard | Colorado COVID-19 Updates). 

b.      Community Testing Site Closures:  Starting in May 2022, the COVID-19 community testing sites located in Crowley and Otero Counties will be as follows (informational flyer is attached): 

ØCrowley County

ü  Crowley County Nursing Center

ü  401 Idaho Avenue

ü  Ordway, CO 81063

ü  TUESDAYS 11AM-2PM (STARTING 5/3)

ØOtero County

ü  Rocky Ford Public Safety Building

ü  300 South Main Street

ü  Rocky Ford, CO 81067

ü  WEDNESDAYS 12PM-4PM (STARTING 5/4)

And remember, in addition to the community testing sites, you can call your medical provider for a COVID-19 test or come to the the Otero County Health Department to obtain a free in-home COVID-19 test.
